- Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross Championship Returns to Daytona International Speedway on March 12 and 13December 5, 2016MX Sports is pleased to announce that online registration is now open for the Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross (RCSX), sanctioned by AMA. For the eighth year, Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida will host the biggest two-day amateur Supercross event in the world. Amateur racing will kick off Sunday, March 12 after Saturday night’s Daytona Supercross by Honda, with the finals continuing on Monday, March 13.

Starting with the Daytona 200 in 1937, Daytona’s Bike Week has grown into one of the biggest motorcycle rallies in the world, with events taking place over a 10-day period. Most attendees are there to enjoy riding on the streets, but there is a growing contingent of dirt bike and ATV riders that descend on Central Florida for the first big races of the year.
