MX Sports and 15-Time National Champion Ricky Carmichael are pleased to announce five brand new supporters for the sixth annual Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross. Taking place Sunday, March 8 and Monday, March 9, RCSX features the nation’s top amateur racers battling it out on the prestigious grounds of Daytona International Speedway just one day after the pro supercross event.

In addition to a host of returning sponsors, RCSX is pleased to welcome many brand new sponsors to its unique two-day amateur supercross format. Joining the RCSX lineup in 2015 is VISIT FLORIDA, the state's official tourism marketing corporation, which serves as Florida's official source for travel planning to visitors across the globe.

Bell Helmets will also join the RCSX family this year, handing out a $100 Bell Helmet Holeshot Award to the rider who gets the holeshot in each of the 35 Main Events. Bell will have a display booth on-site, as well as their innovative Mobile Custom-Fit Van that provides 3D head scans for a custom-mold that adapts to the Moto 9 Carbon. It takes only a few minutes and the scanning will be FREE for anyone in attendance. Additionally, riders will have the opportunity to try out a Bell Moto 9 Carbon at no charge! Interested riders can stop by the Bell Booth to sign up and take one for a test ride during one of your practice sessions or race motos at RCSX.

Rocky Mountain ATV/MC has been making big strides in the support of amateur motocross and for 2015 the Utah-based online retailer is offering $20 gift cards to every rider who pre-enters for RCSX. Furthermore, Thor will be located on Pit Road all weekend with an amateur support team on-site as well. Thor will also provide dinner for its Thor sponsored athletes on Sunday evening under the semi.

For the first time in ATV Motocross history, the ATVMX National Championship Series will make a stop at the legendary Daytona International Speedway on Tuesday, March 10. FLY Racing will serve as the title sponsor of the inaugural ATVSX at Daytona, in addition to providing support to the RCSX athletes on Sunday and Monday.

The RCSX class structure includes classes for youth riders on 50cc bikes all the way up to vet and senior classes. The race will follow a supercross format, using heat races and last chance qualifiers to seed the field of riders into a main event in each class, over the course of two days. Unlike the Loretta Lynn Ranch format, riders do not need to qualify at other races in order to participate in the Daytona event.

This event will kick off the opening round of the Women’s Motocross (WMX) Championship, featuring a WMX class for riders who are pre-approved for a 2015 WMX license, in addition to Women Amateur (12+) 99-250cc and Girls (9-13) 79-85cc 2-Stk.
